Meetings and News
The Society holds general meetings every two months (normally on the second Saturday of the month) where an invited speaker provides a presentation on an aspect of local or general history for the interest of members.
Meetings are held
in the Local History Room of the
Schwerkolt Cottage and Museum Complex
and commence at 1.30pm

| Sun 13th Sept | Heritage Open Day Noon to 5 pm - Bring along family and friends to visit Schwerkolt Cottage Museum Complex. Attractions include Art in Bark, Box Hill Spinners and Weavers, Button Collectors Club, Face Painting (Vermont Lioness Club), Fun with Bubbles, Games for Children as well as Koonung Wood Turners, K O Blacksmiths, Lace Guild of Victoria, Melbourne meccano Club, Sausage Sizzle (Rotary Club of Forest Hill) and Yarra Valley Machinery Preservation Society. Special attractions include Tip Top Magic and Balloons 1 pm - 3 pm Crescent City Serenaders 12.30 pm - 3.30 pm Old fashioned Picnic Races 3.30pm. |
