Jodari Valley — where there are over 300 families including its neighbouring villages — is situated 10Km from the centre of Jaghori district.

There is only one primary school with 80 students at Grades 1 to 4. Higher grade students have to walk 10Km each way every day to get to school.

The local poverty line is already extremely low, yet a large majority of people in this area live under that line!
