(a) Swimmers must have swum the Metro West District Championships in both the year of  the award and the previous year.

(b) Swimmers must          also have swam            in the  Metro West Swim Meet (MSAC)  and   the District Sprints in the          same season of           the award..

  (Under exceptional circumstances this  may be waived at      the discretion of         the Executive       these    must be in writing before the      1^st April on the         year of the award).

(c) To receive "Qualifier" awards swimmers must have swum at these Championships.        (i.e. To receive a Grant as a National Qualifier swimmers must swim at Open Nationals).

(d) To receive any "Finalist or Medalist" Award swimmers must swim the qualifying time       ( i.e. To receive     an award for the State Age Championship finalist the swimmer must  swim the Age qualifying time in the heat or, if a straight final, in the final swim).

(e) To receive a Finalist award in a timed final event e.g.:- (Open Water, 1500m and  800m events) your time must be on or with in 110% of the winning time.
