Lions Club of Camperdown
Our Club Social Community Convention

Social Activities

First meeting of the year, 2009.

Our January Meeting was held at the Terang Trots as a social night.

Most members have hard luck stories of how their horse was just beaten by a nose and some members admitted that they actually won a little money.

All enjoyed the food and the convivial atmosphere and caught up on all the Christmas gossip.

Last Meeting of the year 2009 will be the

Annual Mystery Bus Trip, Christmas breakup.

Santa visits, presents are exchanged, and games played.

Camperdown's 30th Anniversary Changeover Dinner.

Not only is this a picture of our new President Judi Oakes but also a photo of our new Membership Chairman Wayne Oakes.

To help them celebrate such a fabulous night their two daughters, Erin and Katie were surprise guests.

The "after changeover" BBQ.

Always as part of Changeover, Camperdown Lions celebrate again on the following Sunday with a BBQ at the new President's home.

Annual (non)Progressive Dinner.

This year the progressive dinner was only progressive around the tables set up at the Club Rooms (RSL Hall). This wise choice of venue means that all can fit into the one room and the food can be kept hot and tasty.

Each dinner has a theme and in 2009, it was "The Rubicks Cube Challenge". Some people are naturally challenged with their dress appearance but this theme gave everyone scope to excell.
