The resolution regarding moving the membership year to match the financial year was passed unanimously, and will take effect next year.
We have moved our Saturday Mixed teams to the Macedon Ranges District competition.
Macedon Ranges competition doesn’t start until 1.30 pm on Saturday and Sunbury, Gisborne and Gisborne South are in that Association. This makes it a very short trip for away games.
If you are interested in playing Saturday Afternoon Mixed please email or call me on 0423884455.
Leon Roche sent out the Membership form to all members on Monday the 3rd of August, members are reminded that payment is required by 31st August.

The next stage of the proposal the “ Draft Plan “for the court development at the Golf Club was completed two weeks ago and will go before the council shortly . I will keep you posted on its progress
A copy of the proposed plan is on the Clubhouse window
The new carpark is complete and looks great. The carpark is only available for members to use during coaching time and for Saturday morning comps. PLease park outside other times for the present.
With the warmer weather coming we need to be mindful of our Water usage Please remember that courts should be watered only once, ( if required ) before play, as per the watering chart on the clubhouse window
From time to time I get calls, emails and anecdotes about members turning up at the courts to play, only to find that gates have been left open. I have arrived myself on a number of occasions to find gates open.
I remind all key holders that it is your responsibility to ensure that the courts and club house are locked when you leave the premises, not anyone else.
If a key holder leaves the facilities unlocked for other members that are present, and who will be leaving after they leave, it is the key holders responsibility to ensure that the members who remain understand the responsibility they have to lock the premises. When this situation arises Key holders need to make the member / members that remain fully aware of that responsibility.
