Six new members were welcomed!
The Ola Cohn center is newly renovated and refurbished!
Life classes were held there and friends are welcomed.
It is also available for members to use for small workshops or exhibitions on some weekends throughout the year by arrangement.

Monthly meetings including talks by sculptors, Inge King and Suzanne Kaldor,  and a talk  by Juliette Peers on women artists.
April a weekend trip to Buxton
August a guided tour of the  NGV  International by Diana.
Winter luncheon with Trivia contest
Christmas Party  with friends and a raffle of Xmas hamper
Life classes were held there and friends are welcomed.

Public Welcome  -   Exhibition of Small Works

The Society's 95th Annual Exhibition was held  August 2004  at the Glen Eira Arts Complex, corner of  Hawthorn and Glen Eira Roads, Caulfield. Again a great success!

"Artists in Action" Weekend,  29 - 30 May 2004

EVENTS FOR 2003   were:
The Society's 94th Annual Exhibition was 29 July  10 August 2003 at the Glen Eira Arts Complex, corner of  Hawthorn and Glen Eira Roads, Caulfield. It was opened by Mr John Wills CEO, Centre for Adult Education. There was an amazing turnout and the HeraldSun newspaper had a really interesting article and photographs about it on Sat. 9th August "Home" magazine section!.
The Final Exhibition was held on 22 and 23 November at the Society's Headquarters, the historic former studio/home of the sculptor Ola Cohn at 41-43 Gipps Street, East Melbourne. This exhibition will be of small paintings -framed and unframed at bargain prices and of small sculpture pieces and ceramics- ideal for Christmas presents.

The First Exhibition of Members' Work for the year was held from 22 April to 27 April in the Centre for Adult Education Gallery at 96 Flinders Street, Melbourne.

Activities: PUBLIC WELCOME.
April 5-6
a weekend workshop particularly for members and others who find attending that the centre on weekdays inconvenient.

June 21-22 
"Artists in Action" demonstrations by artists working in their chosen media. 

September 27-28
"Covering Canvas with Carmel" Member and teacher Carmel Mahony conducting an oil painting workshop.

November 22-23 Bargain Sale of members works

 We welcome members of the public to these weekend activities.
