Spotlighting

Brushtail

Each evening after sunset members use spotlights to try and determine the species of nocturnal animals present in the forest that we are surveying.

Animals seen during this activity include the Common Brushtail and Ringtail Possums, Kangaroos, Wombats and depending on the forest that we are in, can extend to other nocturnal animals such as Bobuck, Yellow-bellied Glider, Greater Glider, Sugar Glider etc.
