TTT Dressage Werribee 2008
Well another TTT Dressage has come and gone. Macedon Ranges Dressage Club members competed in two teams this year and once again did a wonderful job. This year there was no qualification or limit on how many teams a club could enter so there were over 700 horses and rider combinations competing over the weekend.
Our teams were:
MEAN IN GREEN
Natasha Dillon 60.40% and 61.9% Level 1A
Karah Grieve 67.91% and 68.26 Level 2D
Liz Dillon 68.10% and 61.40% Level 3A
Ashley Krive 58.57% and 57.72% Level 3C
LEAN IN GREEN
Sue Purves 60.80% and 69.60% Level 2A
Samantha McKenzie 76.25% and 73.50% Level 2B
Cheryl Colson 59.59% and 65.65% Level 2D
Sue Purves won the Jackpot for her section.
Karah Grieve finished 4th in her Jackpot.
Samantha McKenzie also finished 4th in her Jackpot.
Congratulations to these three ladies for a wonderful achievement against a very large field of horses and riders.
Congratulations to our other riders also for also being very competitive on the day and representing Macedon Ranges Dressage Club.
Thanks to Cheryl Colson who as a brand new club member came to the rescue when one of our riders had to scratch.
A big thanks also goes to the members who were not riding but came down to support the teams. Fiona Cooper, Lee Howells, Sue Van Eyle, Linda Krive and Samantha McKenzie’s Mum.
It would have been great to see a few more members out supporting.
I managed to take some photos of the weekend to go with this article but unfortunately I could not get around to every rider as our members were riding at very similar times on both days.
Macedon Ranges Dressage Club also had members out judging, Chris Sievers, Anne Hall, Sharon Bugeja and Tarnia Huppatz. If I have missed anyone I apologise.
Overall our teams finished as follows:
MEAN IN GREEN EQ 71st with 4.24 pts
LEAN IN GREEN 15th with 10.42 Pts.
With 196 teams competing on the weekend this was a great result ladies and horses.
Remember members that 2009 will see the return of TTT qualification so don’t forget when you are competing to get your log stamped and signed.
