EFA AND WPNEC NEWS

New EFA tests won't be available untill July - EFA is unsure whether to use German or US tests. A National Calander is to be developed to overcome problems with clashes between states. This will be posted on the website.

National Young Rider Championships will be held in NSW next year. Yarra Valley's April Comp is the 19th of April, not the 5th as printed in the handbook.

New rule - If a horse/rider combination competes at Advanced and scores more then 63%, upon application to the EFA they may be awarded up to 80 points to be able to compete in Prix St George.

New sand is being put on Arena 1 at Werribee Park to see if it solves the drainage problem. Arenas 2 - 5 are to be upgraded at some stage.

Mary Hanna has been reappointed the Victorian State Dressage Coach.

Meaghan Willis won the Prix St. George Young Horse Competition for 2008.

Rule 1.14: Eligibility of horses to compete at Prix St. Georges and above - horses with at least 80 points that have on 2 occasions achieved 58% in Official Advanced competitions (unless already competing at PSG or above prior to 1:1:2008.)
