Dressage Festival update
The following is a report from Karen Thornton about the Equestrian Victoria Saddleworld Dressage Festival @ NEC Werribee.
Results: Susannah Clarke's horses ridden by Charlotte Pederson - Come To Me - 5th Inter 2 / 8th Grand Prix / 3rd Grand Prix Special - Dunkerque 6th Inter 1 / 10th Prix St Georges Karen Thornton & Newbury Park Calvados =3rd Preliminary 1C Ashley Krive's pony Shiranna Cointreau & Ice ridden by Shannon McKimmie - 3rd Pony Elementary 3B / 7th Pony Elementary 3C / 7th Pony Novice 2B Nicole Downes & Just Dance 7th 4y.o Young Horse Class Well Done also to Lucy Swagemaker, Sharnee Rose & Brenda Cotter for credible performances in the Preliminary classes, Joan O'Reilly in the Novice Classes and Ruth Feltoe in the Pony Preliminary Classes These Championships showcased horses from all over Australia and to be selected to ride in the event is an achievement in itself. The Macedon Ranges Dressage Club can be very proud of all of our riders / horses/ ponies that participated in this event. Also many thanks to Lee and Ric Howells, Susannah Clarke, Sue Van Eyle, Sharron Bugeja, Angela Tennant, Natasha Dillon, Chris Sievers, Matthew Sievers, Linda Krive, Ashley Krive, Jenni Newman, Louise Wardrop, Angela Dawson, Viv Moroney, Fiona Cooper, Anne Hall and Liz Dillon who worked at the event over the four days of competition and for the many hours of "behind-the-scenes" work to enable the event to come together.
