Here at last are the speeches from the MPU’s Great Speeches and the Art of Poetry event that was held in conjunction with the Melbourne Writers Festival.

Just to hand are details of the poets who will be participating in the englishes event at the Immigration Museum, 400 Flinders St, Melbourne. The speakers will be: Dimitris Troaditis, Mariette Elliott-Kleerkoper, Dominique Hecq and Berni M Janssen.

The history of the MPU has been updated

If you are interested in the MPU’s history we have added some more details to the Past Presidents page and included some examples of their work. New details added include Robyn Peck, Helen Sensi, Sue Stanford and of course we cannot go without mentioning the hard work of Wendy Fleming who assumes the office of President when others are unwilling or unable to do so.
