About the 1st Moonee
Ponds Cub Scout Pack
Cub Scouts are children aged from 7 to
11 years of age.
We meet at the hall from 7:00pm until 8:30pm most Monday nights of the school
term.
Please Note: Some times
there are activities that take us away from the hall. Please
check the current term program (below)
for more information.
Cub Scouts have lots
of fun and adventure.
Some of the great things that Cub Scouts can do
are:
- Possum Prowls
- Bike hikes
- Know how to use a compass
- Hiking
- Cooking on an open fire
- Play lots of different games
- Go on weekend camps
- Visit local places of interest (Eg. Fire Station, SES, etc.)
- Make new mates ...and heaps more!
One of the best things about Cub Scouts is that they can learn
a lot of useful things and earn badges to
wear on their uniforms. Some of the badges that Cub Scouts can
earn are Codes and Signalling, Electronics, Sports, Fishing,
Boating, Masks, Space, Writing and more.
Being a Cub Scout means you can have fun, play games and learn
things all at the same time.
There is a Cub Scout meeting most Monday evenings of the school
term at our Hall. (Please check the current program.)
