In addition to prizes (Club golf balls, $20 voucher) won at every game, the Club year culminates in our annual Awards evening and the presentation of a range of trophies.
Presidents Trophy
Awarded to the total net stroke winner of the two stroke events held during the autumn/summer weekend trip away (traditionally at Maffra).
Captains Trophy
Awarded to the total net stroke winner of the two stroke events held during the spring weekend trip away (somewhere in country Victoria).
Chris Williams Memorial Award
Awarded to the winners of the 4-ball Ambrose held at Kingston Links in August. This trophy commemorates one of our members who served the club and its committee for many years.
Presidents Award
Awarded to a member who, the President judges, has given outstanding service to the club during the past year.
Club Champion
This trophy recognises the member who has achieved the best average net in all stroke games played during the year.
Golfer of the Year
Points are awarded for top ten finish's in each weekly competition. The player with the highest cumulative points score in the year is awarded Golfer of the Year
Monthly Medals
Awarded to the winners of the twelve monthly medal games held during the year.
Medal of Medallists
Awarded to the winner of the annual play-off of the year's monthly medal winners.
Recognition Awards
A group of compact awards gives all members a chance to have their achievements recognised. There are annual awards for most net birdies, most net eagles, and (in each of three grades) least putts. Awards are also given for best net score, worst net score (NAGA!), and most improved handicap.
