Tai Chi is an ancient Chinese exercise which is done with deep breathing, soft gentle movements and concentration. Tai Chi takes care of one's physical, mental, emotional and spiritual states which balances the mind and the body, promoting health, harmony and relaxation.
You will be learning 2 Yang styles, Taiji Qigong Shibashi and the traditional Chen Man-Ching form.

People who would like to check with their doctors or physiotherapists as to their specific medical conditions, regarding this form of exercise should do so, before commencing the classes.
The Arthritis Tai Chi is very gentle on the body, the movements, are easy to learn, and is very effective for people with arthritis, but also for people who don't want the longer concentration, and weight bearing that the more traditional forms demand.
