This course covers the following topics: carpentry, electrical, plumbing and maintenance and emergency procedures for motor vehicles.
All you need to know about safety with electrical equipment, plumbing made easy, how to fix windows, doors, door handles, etc. using correct carpentry methods identifying different parts of your car and or motor bike, how to change that wheel, checking your oil, battery and radiator levels, etc.

525 LANDSCAPE DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION
The course is aimed at those with an interest in creating, or re-creating their garden.
You will be helped to create a concept then refine the design adding plant names, detailed drawings and a specification. At the completion of the course you will have a design that you can work to yourself or give contractors to quote. No graphics skills required, these will be taught, just bring your own (or a friends), block plan and house plan - ground floor showing windows, doors etc. Great participation in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. Strictly 5 persons per course.

530 WELDING & WORKSHOP PRACTICE- INTRODUCTORY

This is an introductory course which consists of basic welding in both electric arc and gas welding. Material thickness 1-10mm. Introduction to M.I.G. welding, brazing of square tubing (R.H.S.) and mild steel. All welding is done in the flat or horizontal position. Repairing some broken metal objects from home and or farm implements. You will be covering use of hand tools, power tools and applying safe work procedures and conduct routine preventative maintenance with e.g. sharpening drill bits etc.

535 WELDING & WORKSHOP PRACTICE- ADVANCED

This course consists of the following: manual and M.I.G. welding of mild steel in all positions, flat, vertical up, horizontal, vertical down and overhead. Material thickness includes 1-12mm. mild steel. T.I.G. (Tungsten Inert Gas) welding of aluminium. Advanced M.I.G. (Metallic Inert Gas).
