The Zonta Club of Geelong was chartered on the 29th March, 1977. It is club no. 879 in Area 4 of District 23. The major business of the club is managed by the elected executives who make up the Board of Directors. Club members raise funds through a range of annual and one-off projects which include theatre nights, fashion parades, auctions, special dinners and raffles. The club's membership is made up of a broad cross-section of women from in and around Geelong, in a diverse range of professions. Members are classified according to their business or profession and some of those classifications include Real Estate, Law, Education, Clerical, Journalism, Social Welfare, Marketing and Retail.
