Planning & Programming

Our programs are based on age and stage appropriate experiences for children 6 mths-3 years, as well as a 3 plus (Kindergarten style class) age group.

Open Age Sessions

Our coordinators' plan from educated interpretations of general observations as the children participate in activities and delight in free play. These programs are designed to ensure each age range (6 mths to 3 yrs) is covered and that activities specific to the children’s interests and stage of development are carried out weekly.

In these sessions our carers cover all areas of development: fine and gross motor, language, cognitive, sensory and social/emotional. Your children are able to move freely from one activity to the next, whilst our sessions include 'mat time' with stories, puppet plays and interactive songs, outdoor play, snack or lunch time with concluding wind down and relaxation time.

3+ Sessions

We focus on broader developmental and educational goals related to pre literacy, pre math’s/ science, socio-emotional skills, leadership, autonomy and planning skills during the 3+ afternoon sessions. Our early childhood coordinators, qualified staff and assistants run these sessions similar to kindergarten.Our aim is to encourage self help skills to empower children to achieve their own goals, in an environment with consistent, caring and supportive staff.

 Monthly plans designed for both sessions are displayed within the centre for parents to peruse.

Session times 

Session commencement and conclusion times are strictly enforced and late fees will apply for each child not collected at the published conclusion time. Children are also not able to access the centre prior to commencement as staff are using this time to set up the room.
