What is BirdLife Australia?
Birdlife Australia is a new organisation formed from an amalgamation of BOCA (Bird Observation and Conservation Australia) and Birds Australia.
Where is Birdlife Australia Murray Goulburn Branch?
The Murray Goulburn Branch of BirdLife Australia is based in the Shepparton region in Victoria’s Goulburn Valley, 180 km north of Melbourne.
Our members come from a wide area around the region – from Benalla to Tatura, and Numurkah to Alexandra.
There is no separate branch membership. If you are a member of BirdLife Australia, you are very welcome to attend branch outings. Visitors are also welcome.
Our Branch (formally called Murray Goulburn BOCA) celebrated its 21st birthday in 2005. See the June 2005 edition of our newsletter The Babbler for information on the history of our group.
