Timing Equipment

Our Touchpads have arrived and have been in use at a number of venues. We also now have a small scoreboard that will connect directly with our timimg system. It will display times for up to 8 lanes. Another BIG investment by the District - this screen costs in excess of $12,000, but will mean that we have state of the art equipment for qualifying meets. We have also ordered a touchpad trolley that will become an integral part of our new trailer. It will be able to slide in and out of a trailer easily without damaging the touchpads.

Because of the large investment we have made in our Timing equipment, as at January 2012, Metro South will be charging a fee of $200 to hire the equipment. This is for the equipment only. If you require one of our operators, a further fee of $100 is payable directly to the operator.

Clubs can be trained to use the timing system by contacting the District and arranging to attend a swim meet where the equipment will used.
