On Etiquette and Morality
| Thief | About | Start | Empaths |

As for the rules of etiquette, I believe there are none. There are none that can be enforced, and there are none that every player can follow. There may be 700 or maybe 2000 players in the Realms at one time - are they all going to follow your standards of etiquette?

Keeping Yourself Nice
Playing in the realms is about keeping yourself nice. Be a model for others to follow. Especially help beginners. Even if you have just arrived, you will have some advice that will help the one who arrived just after you. Never resort to any violence against another player ever. Never resort to criticism of another player ever. Explain your views politely and nicely. This is not about roleplaying, it is about playing fair so that others can enjoy the game too. See below for roleplaying.

Snerts
Never ever call anyone a snert unless you want them to hate you for ever. A snert can cause all kinds of mischief for you. Be nice and help them. Dont do anything mean to them.

Roleplaying is the Stuff
Roleplaying is the stuff adventures and heroes are made of. Roleplaying requires cooperation, friendliness, helpfulness and a sense of enjoyment. Once this is established and you have the trust of those around you, then feel free to go ahead and become the evil scoundrel or charming princess that you've always wanted to be. Being mean to other players is not roleplaying unless they know they can trust you.

Rules of etiquette
Okay I know you really want the rules of etiquette, but you should know them by now.
1) Always be helpful and friendly to others.
2) Never frown on another player for their mistakes, instead offer friendly advice.
3) Never carry out any acts of violence or other harmful actions against another player unless specifically requested by that player (sick individual).
4) Help others who are victims of other players.
5) Expose wrongdooers using the gweth and REPORT them as required. It is up to the game system to punish them, not you.
6) Roleplay, roleplay, roleplay. Be IC not OOC.
7) Leave the girls alone for godssake!
FINAL RULE: Game Policy must be followed.

On Morality
There are many codes of conduct (especially for hunting and stealing etc.) for the Realms. But think about it - they mightnt mean the same thing to every player. You may live by your own code of conduct, but never expect that others must also follow that exact same code. Explain your code, dont criticise others.
