Things to do in a Men's Group

For men who have participated in men's groups I would be interested to know the structure of the group, and the activites that were most useful, interesting, engaging and fun. Any ideas on the mix of men. Are streaight only groups better than gay and bi. What about groups for gays and bi?

DEBRIEF. One of the most powerful tools of connecting a men's group or gathering is the act of debriefing life events. The phenomenon of 'parralleling' other men's life experience is spontaneous, and absorbing, and will put you in touch with lost emotions and old wounds. A safe space is essential, familiar faces, private uninterupted area, and an experienced leader with emotional release knowledge.The leader is not always necessary but this process is often very powerful and strong emotional experience is frequent and difficult to contain.
