Having only recently started to question who why and what
am I ? I needed a kickstart to get me asking the right questions. This book that I found by accident has certainly done that. I have also been very pleasantly surprised to find that a number os my friends have also read it and found that it says what is needed in a concise and easily understood way. I cannot praise Mr Biddulph enough or thank him for what he has started within me.

I took this book with me on my annual 'getting lost' in the country for a few days, with just me my motorcycle a few beers, great country and a good book. What a gem! It really gave me hope where often there doesn't seem much. I teach in a difficult primary school and see the results of 'fatherless' boys and the devastating results it has on their and others lives. This book has changed the way I deal with these boys.
Stephen, thankyou for a great book. I resisted the impulse to read the book at one go and savoured it over a number of days, reading a chapter or two a day and then mulling over it the next day.

A number of things rung very true in the book and encouraged me to read on.
But the later part of the book starts to get a bit mystical for my liking - especially
when most of us just want to know that we're not alone and this bitter sweet
pain we feel is called - "life".

Guys, this is a great book. I don't know how well it will 'travel' overseas but for Australian men at least it says it like it is.
There are some ideas that I cringe about (eg. I can't see how men in loincloths beating drums in the bush has any relevance for my life) but it's probably just my personal biases.
Get it and read it mate - NOW!
