About the artist... |

Melva Hay lives in Echuca, along the Murray River in Northern Victoria, Australia. This page was set up to showcase many of her works (paintings) that she has completed over time. Her works have been inspired by a number of different influences including (but not limited to) her past, her present, family and friends. More recently as pieces have become better known throughout the region and beyond, Melva has been commissioned to complete paintings for others. Most recently, Melva won the SHEAR OUTBACK competition at the Australian Shearers Hall of Fame at Hay, as part of a big 2008-09 program. |
