This is a workshop about the interconnectedness of
all life and new and profound ways of thinking. Traditionally, much
of what we come across is based on dichotomies, up and down, God and
man, master and slave, good and evil. When something new springs
into being it is often a mergence of existing dichotomies belonging
to one or more of these cultural categories, such as the
Art-Spirituality merger belonging to Art Therapy. This workshop
takes things one step further, introducing an expanded awareness on
thought, merging the fields of Art, Spirituality and Science.

Hello, my name is Katherine Cunningham, I am a menstrual educator. My work is designed to open women to the rest of the wisdom and power available in our cycle that most would have us ignore. The following are just some of the areas that the day includes. The whole journey is one of exploration and discovery. The format allows for many moments of sharing, as well as lots of information delivered in such as way as to truly ‘know’ your body’s potential.
Through words, art, movement, contemplation and general sharing we as a group of women will travel to a land where most don’t get to discuss. Rarely in our culture is there room to explore the purpose of menstruation, the history or the deep experience that is possible. Each woman will receive a copy of my Menstrual Meditation CD called Temple of the Blood, as well as a booklet that covers all that we explore.
