Membership of AEMA is open to anyone with an interest in early medieval studies. The early medieval is broadly defined, ranging in time from the late Roman Empire to the Norman Conquest and beyond and encompassing regions from Byzantium and the Middle East to Iceland and Britain.

MEMBERSHIP FEES AND FORMS

All annual subscriptions include a copy of the Journal of the Australian Early Medieval Association (JAEMA). We regret that surcharges to cover international postage and bank fees may be applicable to overseas membership. Please contact membership@aema.net.au for more information.

Full membership fee: $44
Concession membership fee: $22

AEMA has recently shifted to a membership year running from 1 January to 31 December.  All subscriptions for the membership year commencing 1 July 2010 will be valid until 31 December 2011 with no additional cost to members. For this period only, membership will include two volumes (2010 and 2011) of JAEMA.

INSTITUTIONAL SUBSCRIPTIONS

While AEMA does not offer corporate membership, libraries and other organisations may receive the journal through institutional subscription at a cost of $50 (Australian dollars) per volume. Please contact subscriptions@aema.net.au to arrange an institutional subscription. 

PAYMENT METHODS

Please note that ALL payments must be made in Australian dollars. The preferred payment method is by online deposit to AEMA's bank account. Please include your name in the comments box with your transaction. Alternatively, you can post a cheque or money order made out to 'AEMA' to the address given below.

You can also pay on the internet using PayPal: use treasury@aema.net.au as the recipient and please ensure that you select Australian dollars as the payment currency.
