NOTICE OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

AND FORTHCOMING ELECTIONS

 

NOTICE is hereby given that the 18^th Annual General Meeting of the

ME/CHRONIC FATIGUE SYNDROME SOCIETY OF VICTORIA INC

will be held at

 

21 – 23 Livingstone Close, Burwood

on

Sunday 19^th November 2006

commencing at 3pm

 

AGENDA

1.      Welcome

2.      Apologies

3.      Confirmation of the minutes of the last Annual General Meeting held on 20 November 2005

4.      To receive and consider:

1. The President's Report
2. The financial statements for the year ended 30^th June 2006
3. The auditor’s report and to elect the auditor for the year 2006 -2007

5.      To receive the report on the election of the executive officers and the committee members of the Society in accordance with the Rules

6.      To pass a vote of thanks to all those who have volunteered their services for the benefit of the Society in the year under review.

7.      Close of Meeting

ELECTION OF COMMITTEE OF MANAGEMENT

 

ANY MEMBER WHO WISHES TO BE ELECTED TO THE

COMMITTEE OF MANAGEMENT MUST FIRST BE NOMINATED.

Nominations of candidates for election as Executive Officers and Committee Members must:

 

(a)                be in writing, signed by two financial members of the Society, and accompanied by written consent of the candidate and

(b)               be delivered to the Secretary of the Society at 21-23 Livingstone Close, Burwood, Vic 3125 NOT LATER THAN 3pm on 8^th October 2006.

All financial members of the society are entitled as of right to attend the annual general meeting.
