The MDASA Awards are awarded annually at the Annual General Meeting
Clegg Shield - awarded to the most outstanding swimmer in the district
L.L. Dixon Award - awarded to the most outstanding Junior Swimmer - 11&U
Best Male/Female - selected from performances at Country Championships
Bill McKenzie Memorial Trophy - awarded to an 18/O swimmer based on their performance at the Midlands Championships
Fiona Fraser Trophy - for the best performance by a 12/13 year old
Brett O'Neill Award - 1500m Freestyle
Helen Edgecombe Award - 800m Freestyle
Craig Millgate Award - 400m Freestyle
Randall Forsyth Award - 200m Freestyle
Karla Alexander Award - Individual Medley
Isolbel Glover Freestyle Trophy
Betty Fraser Memorial Breaststroke Trophy
Mick O'Neill Memorial Backstroke Trophy
Graeme Fraser Memorial Butterfly Trophy

Nominations for each MDASA Award must be submitted to the MDASA selection committee on the appropriate form, with all relevant details. It is the responsibility of each individual swimmer to have details checked with his/her club Records Officer.
Nomination forms are available from the website and/or your club secretary. Please make sure you use the nomination forms for season 2007/08. Forms prior to this will not be accepted.
To be eligible for any MDASA award a swimmer must have competed in at least 2 MDASA Meets ie: 200m, 400m, 800m, 1500m or MDASA Championships.
The interpretation of a rule is as per the current seasons's year book. It is the responsibility of the award nominee to read the year book and ensure that any nomination complies with the MDASA rules.
