Seville Orange 1965 Botanical
Name:
citrus aurantium Linn Family:
Rutaceae
This tree had been planted in the garden with no
success.
In 1970, I decided to dig it out and grow it in a pot, as it seem to
grow better potted up. A year later I decided to train it as a bonsai.
The fruit crop on this tree are removed as they grow quite large. The second
crop of the season don't grow as big, giving the tree a better effect.
Presently, the tree stands at 30 inches high.
