SIX PARTY HATS
"Six Party Hats" is a short play created and performed by members of MAYTE Youth Theatre for the Stuffest Youth Festival in April 2002. The play was performed at the Grainery Lane Theatre on April 5, 6 and 7. Directed by Peter Waugh and Lisa Hill.
The play is set at a sixteenth birthday party, a sleepover, where a group of friends remember a number of events that have occured recently. Some are funny, some are sad. They cover a range of emotions including Passion, Jealousy, Depression, and Anger.
However all at the party is not quite as it seems - there is something not quite right and it's not that Jacob got electrocuted or that Frenchie nearly got runover by a truck. All is revealed at the end.
