Personal Profile

Hi, I am Rebecca Renda.
Mostly everyone calls me Bec.

I am 16 years old and am in year 10 at Penleigh and Essendon Grammar School, Moonee Ponds Campus.

I was born in Australia but have Indian and Italian heritage.

I have one brother called John, who will be completing his Law Degree this year.

Swimming Profile

I have been doing swim squads and competitions for just over 4 years and my coach is Georgine Luscombe from the Maribyrnong Aquatic Centre.

Most often I train 9 swim squad sessions & 3 dry land gym sessions a week which can prove very difficult when combined with my music & study commitments.

My main stroke is Breaststroke and my current rankings are:
50m100m200m
Victorian State Age Long Course Top 10:5th 6th5th
Australian Girls Age Long Course Top 25:24th 23rd17th

My Breaststroke Long Course times are:  50m:36.50,  100m:1.18.08,  200m:2.47.48

I recently competed in 9 events in the 2011 Victorian Age Long Course Championships and my best placing was 4th Victorian in the 200m Breaststroke.

I will be competing at the Australian Age Championships in Adelaide in April this year in the 100m and 200m Breaststroke.

My current aim is to balance swimming, school and leisure so I have a good day.
