Please let us know if you are intending to visit on an open day. Our ability to open for the public is totally dependent on the availability of volunteers able to assist you. It is not always possible to give advance notice of days we are unable to open.

 

PLEASE NOTE THAT WE ARE CLOSED ON ALL TOTAL FIRE BAN DAYS IN THE CENTRAL AND NORTH-CENTRAL REGION

FROM FRIDAY 7/12/2018 UNTIL First Friday in February 2019, inclusive, the Society will only be open by prior appointment until the 2019 School year starts.

During this time our email account it monitored less-regularly than it usually is and it may take a few days to respond to your emails or phone calls

Wednesday March 18. Public Meeting - Ross Young Memorial Lecture

Brendan Moore, Senior Project Manage with Yarra Valley Water is our guest speaker for the night. As the 2018/2019 recipient of the Ross Young Scholarship for the Water Services Association of Australia (WSAA) Brendan's talk is our inaugural, Ross Young Memorial Lecture, to be held annually in memory of our late member ,and former WSAA Executive Director, who as a leader, both domestically and internationally, was a dedicated and passionate member of the water industry.

APRIL 2020

We will be participating in the Unique by Nature, United by History Exhibition in the Kyneton Museum which focuses on the history of the towns which make up the Macedon Ranges Shire. If there is sufficient interest, we may hold some guided history and heritage tours of Malmsbury in conjunction with this event. Further details TBA
