The Malmsbury Mechanics Institute is located in Mollison Street, Malmsbury, and is generally open on Tuesdays (exclusive of school holidays) from 9am to 2.30pm for the public to conduct in-person research. Fees apply. Other times are available by prior appointment. Check with the Secretary before planning a visit to ensure volunteers are available to assist you.
PLEASE NOTE: UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE THE SOCIETY WILL NOT BE OPEN ON DAYS OF TOTAL FIRE BAN IN THE CENTRAL AND/OR NORTH WESTERN TOTAL FIRE BAN DISTRICTS.
Twice a year we hold our "open weekends" where the public can access our records for a mere $2 a day per person, as well as see our exhibitions of historical photos and documents. See the What's On page for further details.
