Boomerang was started with 12 foundation members on August 2, 1991.

The major initiators of the group's formation and foundation, were Vic Stoikov, Mise Avtarovski and Jovan Naumovski along with other foundation members, such as Margarita Vasileva, Ana Vasileva, Kosta Todorovski, Menka Andonovska and others.

The Theatre Group was officially registered on October 17th, 1991.
First premiere performance for the Theatre Group "Boomerang " was Melburn- Sidnej Za Inaet - written by Mise Avtarovski, directed by Kosta Todorovski and officially opened by the Mayor of Collingwood Marcia Fleet on Friday 15th November, 1991 at Collingwood College Theatre.

Completed seven full productions around Australia and the Republic of Macedonia by February 1996.

Over 20,000 people have seen the performances of the Macedonian Theatre Group " Boomerang " - Melbourne live.

Over sixty live performances have been presented to the Macedonian Community around Australia and overseas.
Seven different productions were presented to the Macedonian audiences in Melbourne and Sydney, five productions in Wollongong, four in Newcastle, three in Canberra and Queanbeyan, two in Perth and one in Geelong.

Boomerang also presented performances of " Kengurite Doagaat " overseas in Skopje, Prilep and Bitola in the Republic of Macedonia in June 1994.

The first and only Macedonian Theatre Group from Melbourne to perform outside Melbourne in the following cities - Sydney, Perth,Wollongong, Newcastle, Canberra and Queanbeyan.

Theatre Group "Boomerang " is only the second Theatre Group to visit the Republic of Macedonia.

The first and only Macedonian Organisation outside the Republic to be officially invited by the Ministry of Culture.

First Macedonian Organisation to appear on a front cover of the Makedonija Magazine - June 1994.

Participated in many Macedonian Festivals including the International Folk Fest which was held in Melbourne in January 1993, where over 45 Ethnic Communities took part.

Members of Boomerang have presented many comedy sketches when overseas singers and artists arrived here to perform.

Boomerang Theatre Group held it's first official Presentation Ball at Brookwood Receptions on August 15th, 1992.

The First and only Macedonian Organisation to have over 25 Aboriginal participants perform live alongside with Theatre Group members at Brookwood Receptions on August 15, 1992, where
an exchange of mutual co-operation between the Groups took place, made possible by the highest presence from the Aboriginal Communities Chairperson of the Aboriginal and Torres Straights
Island Commission the Honorable Ms Lois Peeler.

Assisted and took part in many Cultural Parades such as Moomba and others.

The Group has financially donated hundreds of dollars to many Macedonian Institutions as well as the Royal Children's Hospital Appeal.

Highest membership attained was 68 members in the year of 1993.

Three member actors have performed in every production since it's formation.

Zlatomir Jovanov, Vic Stoikov and Jovan Naumovski.

One hundred and thirty five members of Boomerang have participated on stage and behind the scenes in the past seven Productions.
