Publications
MAD produces three publications, Tastebud, Silvertongue and the Monash Debating Review.
Tastebud is the print version of the MAD newsletter. Its online equivalent is the news index which appears on the front page of the MAD website.
Silvertongue is MAD's magazine which is published quarterly and mailed to every member. We plan to have Silvertongue 2002 online as soon as possible.
Silvertongue Edition III, 2002 has just been published. If you didn't recieve your copy in the mail, please let us know.
Contributions for Silvertongue (in the form of articles, letters, photos, cartoons, poetry, cryptic crosswords or general ranting) are always welcome from all members - you can write about ANYTHING even vaguely debating-related. Contact the Editor, Sarah Norman, to submit articles or for further details.
Follow the links below to read back editions of Silvertongue Online.
Note: Silvertongue Online will open in a new browser window. To return to the MAD Website, simply close the Silvertongue Online contents window.
The Monash Debating Review is a new concept publication of the Monash Association of Debaters. It is an academic journal which discusses all aspects of debating, including contentious current issues, strategic debating theory and other issues affecting the international debating community.
We are currently calling for papers for the second edition of the Monash Debating Review. See here for details.
