* These races are our Premium events. these four events will have a Perpetual Trophy each for the winner to hold for 12 months.
     
** These two events are round the lake races and as such line honour winners will be rewarded. First across the line for both Large Boat section and the Small boat section will get a medium trophy.

* Skipper of the Year. The criteria for this award is as proposed. Points are given throughout the year as outlined.
     
Points Score (each race must have a minimum of 10 starters)
1st on Handicap 5 Points  
2nd on Handicap 3 Points  
3rd on Handicap 1 Point  
     
Trophy Winners:
1st on Handicap 5 Points  
2nd On Handicap 3 Points  
3rd On Handicap 1 Point  
     
These points will be allocated for large and small fleet. Therefore the overall winner of Skipper of the year is the skipper with the most points.
     
** Points Score Champion. All Points will be available publicly up until the end of October; from there onwards points will be only be known to the Sailing Master/Handicapper and Commodore. This should keep the excitement going until Presentation night.
     
*** Cock O' the Fleet and Cock O' the Lake points are awarded to the first across the line in each fleet in points score races. Qualifying races will be races 1 to 6.
     
**** Clubman of the Year should be presented to the person the committee decides has contributed most to the Club, from all criterea ( Incl. Competetive, voluntary, helping others, end of day cleanup, social). Each committee member should nominate one member at the last meeting of the year and then the committee shall vote for the winner.
