of which has never been seen in the quiet rural idyll
of Little River. Come along and celebrate 30 years
since the original and best Mad Max movie was filmed
around the district of Little River.

TICKETING
|

A
limited number of 200 Platinum Passes will
be available for sale to the public at a cost of AUD
$50.00 per ticket. Tickets can be purchased by
posting the Request Form, including payment, to the
Little River Historical Society. For Ticket Request

Platinum
Passes will give the holder unrestricted access to
events across the Back2TheMax event, including entry
to the Back2TheMax Displays, Back2TheMax - The Dinner
and the Mad Max 30th Anniversary Movie Screening.
A
limited number of 240 additional Movie Tickets
will be available to the public for the Mad Max 30th
Anniversary Movie Screening, at a cost of $6 per
ticket. Tickets can be purchased direct from the
Wyndham Cultural Centre by phoning (03)9741 9500 (Box
Office Open Monday to Friday, 9:00am-4:30pm). For

ADMISSION TO THIS EVENT IS BY PRE-PURCHASED TICKET
ONLY. Ticketing for this event is strictly limited
to 200 Platinum Pass tickets and 240 General Admission
Tickets. Platinum Passes and General Admission tickets
must be pre-purchased (see ticketing details) - passes
WILL NOT be available for sale at the event or at
the door.
Join
us for 'old-times sake' at a screening of the original
and unbeatable Mad Max - the movie that started all

Required.
A little upset? Why not get really Mad? Little
River Historical Society Inc. and Back2The Max present
a fabulous display of Mad Max memories and memorabilia,
including a static memorabilia display, replica cars,
replica motorcycles from the Toe-Cutter's Gang, lucky
ticket draws, continuous screening of Mad Max footage,
all on display in and around the Little River Mechanics'
Institute Hall.
Bus
tours will be available, courtesy of Shell Geelong Refinery,
visiting various film locations around Little River.
Departing from the Bus Stop outside the Little River
Mechanics Hall. Tickets will be available inside the
Hall on the day of the event. Departure times will be
displayed at the Bus Stop. No bookings will be taken
prior to the event.
Secretly
wish you were Max? Indulge your fantasies with a ride
in a pursuit car. Rides will be available on the day
of the event for a gold coin donation.No bookings will
be taken prior to the event.
A
range of Official Souvenirs, including Back2TheMax posters,
t-shirts, stubby coolers and stickers will be available
for purchase from the Little River Mechanics Institute
Hall.*

ADMISSION
TO THIS EVENT IS RESTRICTED TO PLATINUM PASS HOLDERS
ONLY. Ticketing for this event is strictly limited to
200 Platinum Pass tickets. Platinum Passes must be pre-purchased
(see ticketing details) - passes WILL NOT be available
for sale at the event or at the door.
Zip those leathers, fuel the beast and put the pedal
to the metal to join us in the Mad Max Marquee for a
dinner to celebrate the passing of 30 years since the
genesis of the movie that changed your life!
A spit-roast dinner will be served, with drinks available
from the bar, at bar-prices. Entertainment will be provided
throughout the night, including special guest speakers
and auction. But don't think we get to do all the entertaining
- Mad Max attire is strictly encouraged!
Please note that bar and venue will close strictly at
10:30pm.
Parking is available at the event site.

Car
parking is available in the carpark of the Little River
Railway Station and in the designated carpark on Rothwell
Road, Little River. Please follow the signs for event parking.

ARE KINDLY REQUESTED TO NOT PARK IN FRONT OF PRIVATE PROPERTIES
IN THE TOWNSHIP.
The
Society gratefully acknowledges the assistance of the Little
River Lions Club in providing parking and traffic control.

FOOD
& DRINKS
|
A
wide variety of food and drinks will be available throughout
the event at the Little River Mechanics Hall, thanks to
the community groups of Little River - including the Little
River CFA, Lions Club, Primary School, Kindergarten and
Pony Club.
Food
will include devonshire teas and sandwiches, coffee &
tea, bbq lunches, hot potatoes, cold soft-drinks, chocolates
and espresso coffee.
PLEASE
NOTE that the event site will be strictly alcohol free.
Visitors are welcome to visit the nearby Little River Hotel
to enjoy a drink during the event, but are requested not
to bring alcohol onto the event site.
For
meals after event-hours, counter-meals are available at
the Little River Hotel but bookings are advised during this

wide range of dining options is available in the nearby
city of Werribee (approx. 20 minutes from Little River),
providing a variety of places to eat to suit all tastes
and budgets.
VISITORS

those wishing to stay locally during the event, a wide-range
of accommodation is available in the nearby city of Werribee
(approx. 20 minutes from Little River), along with a wide
range of other tourist activities and venues to entertain
families and visitors to the area.
Please
note that no camping or caravan facilities are available
in Little River.
