About Us

Legend Park Pre-School was established circa 1975 in the picturesque Legend Park Estate in Glen Waverley, Victoria. The Pre-school is a feeder to several primary schools in the area, including Camelot Rise, Holy Saviour, Highvale and Weeden Heights Primary Schools.

Our Staff

Gina D'onofrio

Gina D'Onofrio has been with Legend Park Pre School for 13 years and holds a Diploma of Early Childhood Education from the University of Melbourne. In conjunction with her assistant Sharon McIntyre who has been with us for 15 years and who has recently gained the qualification of Certificate Three Childrens Services. The four year old program is focused on "Learning through Play" to suit the needs of the children and families of Legend Park Pre School. An emergent style curriculum based on the groups and individuals interests is implemented as well as embracing the National and Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework.

Gina enjoys walking with her ipod, shopping at Chadstone, cooking and spending time with her family and friends.


Kathy Krasovec

Kathy Krasovec commenced working at Legend Park Pre School this year after a break from teaching to raise her children. Kathy holds a Diploma of Early Childhood Education from the University of Melbourne and has 17 years of teaching experience as a Kindergarten Director.

The teaching staff, which includes Pam Hill, the three year old Kindergarten Assistant, enthusiastically provides the kindergarten group a caring, secure, and stimulating learning environment. Kathy and Pam believe children learn through play and the fundamental purpose of early childhood education is to nurture positive and happy children.

We provide many experiences for the children in the program such as art, music, movement, literature, maths and science.

Our Committee

The Pre-School is managed by a committee of elected representatives and offers parents and guardians direct involvement in the preschool's operation.

Our Committee of Management is elected at our Annual General Meeting which is held in November every year. Our committee meets monthly for meetings and key positions of our committee include:
