New South Wales Tour of Duty 25 December 2001 - 9 January 2002

   Launching Place Fire Brigade provided five firefighters for the CFA Task Force to NSW for the 2001 Christmas fire emergency.  An LPFB firefighter responded to the first call for assistance on Christmas Day, with four other firefighters responding in the following days.  LPFB personnel took on positions ranging from strike team leader to firefighter, and fought fires in Heathcote before being redeployed to fires further south of Sydney.  Below is a selection of photos from those taken by LPFB personnel while in NSW.
