Lockington Channel Committee have transformed a disused irrigation channel into an extensive waterway park. With an ornamental Lake, stylised creekline, and wetland area. Two islands add color, and provide a safe haven for wildlife.
Picnickers have the choice of sheltered tables, a rotunda, or grassy lakeside verge's.
An all weather walking track links these segments together, as it winds through the park, along the "Family Tree Avenue", then circuits the School ground and Sporting Complex area.
