Promoting Regional Market Opportunities
This program aims to develop secondary industry investment in the region to capitalise on increasing productivity in the primary industry sector. Grape Crushing Plant A report has been prepared, assessing the viability of establishing a Wine Grape Bulk Handling and Crushing Plant within the region, to complement and capitalise on the new irrigation developments that are occurring. The Loddon Murray Agribusiness Initiative committee is jointly funding this study. Cost Benefit Analysis & Feasibility Studies This program undertakes preliminary assessment of the major capital works required to eliminate infrastructure deficiencies which hamper existing and new agricultural development within the region.
