Retraining and Resettlement |

The retraining and resettlement grant is to assist farmers who choose to leave farming.
The grant will be available up to a maximum of $15,000 per farming enterprise to assist with advice, training and re-skilling. To qualify for this grant the farmer must have:  owned or operated a farm business enterprise prior to 25 November 1997
disposed of all farm assets of the farm business enterprise, or
entered into a binding contractual arrangement to dispose of farm assets
The training is to be commenced within 6 months of disposing of farm assets. |
