Business Support Network
This program aims to improve the coordination and effectiveness of the support services to the business community in the region. Local Business Survey All businesses within the region have been surveyed to ascertain their views and needs, and how Loddon Murray 2000 plus can assist. Economic Development Workshops We are also funding several workshops in small rural communities, addressing the issue of economic development. Local Business Directory Assistance Offered Several Progress Associations and Local Organisations within the Loddon Murray Region have been offered funding for improving the coordination and effectiveness of the support services to the business community. Grants of up to $5,000 were available which should address the following criteria: a) Provide funding research and analyse local business information needs; b) Establish a directory of available businesses and community services; c) Provide networking seminars with guest speakers; or d) Provide funding for small business development forums. Further details on the successful applicants will be reported on at a later date. |
