District V2 Convention 2007
The Lions Clubs of Werribee welcomes all fellow Lions to the
2007 Multiple District 201 V2 Annual Convention to be held in Werribee
on 9 - 11 November 2007.

The convention theme is "On Safari".
The City of Werribee is
located south west of Melbourne on the highway
to Geelong. It is about 30 klms from Melbourne and 50 klms from Geelong.
Werribee and its surrounding district is rich in Victorian and Australian
history which attracts thousands of tourists each year to popular locations such as:

Convention Venue
Werribee has many first class venues catering for conventions
and large functions. One of these venues, The Leisure

Accommodation
Accommodation for visiting delegates and guests will
be available from the local Motels and B&Bs. It is recommended that
accommodation be booked early as November is a popular time in Werribee
for large sporting and cultural events.

3. RAAF Museum & State Rose Garden Tour
Visit the largest collection of Australian military aircraft in the world. See more than twenty aircraft on display. Items of memorabilla date back to the earliest days of the AFC and the birth of the RAAF in 1921 through to the present day. Take a drive around Werribee South foreshore then visit the Victorian State Rose Garden which has over 5,000 rose bushes in a symbolic Tudor rose shaped garden.
