COMMUNITY SERVICE

        The role of the Club Community Service Committee is to plan, organise, co-ordinate and oversee the provision of Community programs implemented by the Rotary Club of Lilydale.

        The role of the Club's Community Service Committee is to manage Community programs and activities of the Club.  Two of the most significant activities of the Club are the Lilydale Farmers Market (a monthly produce market) and to assist the Lilydale Show Committee in the staffing of the gates and pavilions at the Annual Lilydale Show.

        The Club has for some time carried out a number of projects at the Lilydale Lake, the most recent of which included the supply and installation of seating at the Lake.

        The main Community Service activities cover the following :-

• Lilydale Farmers Market at Bellbird Park, next to Lilydale Lake, Lilydale, every 1st Sunday of the month

• Australian Rotary Health Research Fund (A.R.H.R.F.)   This important project has a separate Club Committee to co-ordinate the Club's efforts.

• Community Support Programs

• Community Health Programs

• Probus Clubs

• Lilydale Show - November each year
