Lockington
Community News is a community initiated and produced newsletter intended
to impart to local residents, news and information of a local nature, and to
improve communication between the various groups. Copy is always welcome from
individuals or groups wishing to report on a recent event or to inform the
community of forthcoming activities. All contributions are accepted in good
faith and there is no desire or intention to misinform or offend. Brief History Latest

address: Typing: Monday Fortnightly, distributed the following Friday. DEADLINE: Noon on day of typing, leave items at the office (in the box) or at the Post Office for collection. We welcome News, Reports and personal items, photos etc, if sending by email please limit if possible to not more than 1000KB (1mb). Casual Advertising: Must be accompanied by name, address and phone number (for conformation only and not for publication, without this information we can not print your article). Charges: Minimum 5.5cm x 5.5cm AU $6.60 Incl GST (as at this date and subject to change with out notice), please contact the office to discuss larger ad’s. Charity and Not for Profit Groups: FREE. Reports: A word count limit of 500 words is sufficient for most reports; preference will be given to shorter reports. Due to space limitations your report may be edited. Letters to the Editor: Articles and Reports should be typed or Printed and must show the authors name and contact details. Controversial / Political: We do not include Controversial or Political issues or party policies unless we can give equal time and space to all parties or sides of the argument. Articles: Printed by this paper are done so in good faith and in no way reflect the views held by the “Locky News” voluntary workers, we reserve the right to reject items deemed to be unsuitable.
