Working Bees

There has not been a great call for Lions to do physical community work in 2006. However, the Club did receive a call from another Lions Club concerning a Lara resident who required assistance with the clearing and tidying of property due to an incapacitating illness.

The Club has also undertaken working bees at a number of places including, Hovell's Creek walk and Austin Park which receives a weekly clean up as part of our on-going commitment to Lara Beautification.

The Club has also undertaken working bees at a number of places including, Duck Ponds School, Mittagong Guide Camp and Austin Park. We have also provided support and assistance for a number of local people and organisations in various other ways.
