Lions Club of Lara 2008 Peace Poster Competition

The Lions Club of Lara held its own Peace Poster competition at the three local Primary Schools. This ensured a local winner and the competition between the schools was of a very high standard.

Peace Without Borders - 2005-06 Lions International Peace Poster Contest

'Peace Without Borders' was the theme of the 2005-06 Peace Poster Contest. Lions clubs can sponsor the programme in their community for children in local schools or organized, sponsored youth groups. Students, ages 11, 12 or 13 on 15 November 2005, were eligible to participate. Through the contest, students are encouraged to visually depict their interpretation of the contest's theme.
