Lions Membership

Do you feel that you should be putting something back into society? Would you enjoy having some fun while working for the community? Are you feeling indecisive of joining a community service club?

Why not visit the Lions Club of Lara and see what we do! All prospective new members are invited to attend an Executive Meeting, a Business Meeting and are also invited to a Dinner Meeting as our guest to get a feel for how our Club operates.

Some brief facts about Lions International:

Since 1917, Lions clubs have offered people the opportunity to give something back to their communities. From involving members in projects as local as cleaning up an area park or as far reaching as bringing sight to the world's blind, Lions clubs have always embraced those committed to building a brighter future for their community.

Today Nearly 1.35 million Lions members in more than approximately 45,000 clubs in 197 countries and geographical areas, Lions have expanded their focus to help meet the ever increasing needs of our global community.

For nearly 90 years, whenever there is a need at home or around the world, Lions members are there to help.

Our programmes are continually changing to meet new needs and greater demands, but our mission has never wavered: 'We Serve.'

To take the next step, contact us and give us some details of yourself and ask the Secretary to call you at a convenient time and let's take it from there!!

New members eventually need to complete a Membership Application Form to be submitted to the Club Secretary.
