Lara Heritage Festival
Lions Club of Lara members ran the BBQ during the Lara Heritage Festival held 31 March to 2 April 2006 to raise funds which fund community projects. This year the Club had assistance with the newly forming LEO's Club of Lara which is based at the Lara Secondary College.
LEO's (under the supervision of Lions), ran the drinks stall for the Heritage festival. They also assisted Lions during peak periods with the BBQ area.Air Radiators
In November 2004, the Lions Club of Lara was invited to run a BBQ for a staff function at Air Radiators factory in Heales Road, Lara, which in turn made a profit for the Club which assists with community projects. Thanks to all who were involved.
