CPC Official Meets with Lao Foreign Minister

   BEIJING (Aug. 27) XINHUA - Dai Bingguo, head of the 
International Department of the Central Committee of the 
Communist Party of China  (CPC), met with Laotian Foreign 
Minister Somsawat Lengsavad here today.
   After the meeting, Dai hosted a dinner in honor of the 
Laotian guests  in the Great Hall of the People.
   Laotian Foreign Minister Somsawat and his party have 
come to visit  China at the invitation of the Chinese 
Foreign Ministry.
